Today, Tuesday, November 7th, please, please, please vote in these midterm elections. Usually in midterm elections only 1/3rd of the voting age population votes. In an election with numbers that small turnout is even more important than usual. Many house races are determined by a few hundred votes. Nothing like knowing your vote actually affected something like raising the minimum wage or getting universal health care.
Many of you reading this probably live in Massachusetts, in which case you can finally vote for a good Democrat for Governor, Deval Patrick ( http://www.wheredoivotema.com )
If you live elsewhere you might have a chance to elect an equally important Democrat to the Senate or the House of Reps.
